Biography

James has been interested in performing arts since a very young age, singing in concerts at his primary school, but always refusing to sing a solo! James learned the piano from primary school age, and is now Grade Five Standard.

James first performed in a real theatre show in 2005, in the Scarborough YMCA Productions pantomime, Pinocchio, written by Kiel Richardson. This has followed by variety shows, cabaret shows and summer shows with YMCA Productions. He continues to perform at the YMCA in their shows.

James has also performed in The Club for Acts and Actors (formerly The Concert Artistes Association) in London in October 2007 alongside Johnny Maxim, Mike Shannon, Kay Carman and Howard Layton.

James has also appeared in a number of shows at Scarborough Spa Theatre with Kay Carman Productions, which has given James the opportunity to perform with The Bachelors, Andy Eastwood, Howard Beaumont and many others.

Alongside his performing, James has an interest in music recording and has recorded/produced CDs for singers in the area. James recorded a CD of his own in Summer 2007, and is currently planning his new album!
